Rescue Or Not!

If you search Google for dog rescue you will be amazed at the number of items you will find........ Google Results 1 - 10 of about 1,460,000 .


Possible pitfalls of Dog Rescue:


      • Not knowing the full background of the dog
      • Has the dog suffered mental abuse, resulting in problems later as it develops
      • Dogs can have behaviour problems
      • Rescue dogs have costly medical conditions
      • If it is a rescue dog there must be something wrong with it

Why You Should Consider A Dog Rescue:


      • The majority of dogs in rescue are older dogs which are house trained
      • Rescue centres provide a healthy check of all dogs, so no surprises
      • Many dogs come already trained in basic obedience
      • Bonding will happen more quickly
      • What you see is what you get
      • All dogs character are assessed, so you if it is suitable for you
      • You are giving an dog a second chance, the other option is death
